Removing consent flow friction

I've created a PowerApp which gathers feedback from a user and adds it to a SharePoint list.

In the PowerApp I have set the sharing:

A Flow is triggered when a submit button is clicked in the app. The Flow adds the feedback to the SharePoint list.

The Flow resides in the My Flows area i.e. it is not a Team Flow.

The app works for me but when others come to use it they are asked to provide consent

What can be done to remove the consent flow as it is a barrier to people actually using the app. Is there a way to set the PowerApp sharing or Flow settings to remove this step.

    Hi buildbod,

It might be a default behavior, when you share an app with others, shared users are asked to sign in with their own credentials when the first time they open the app on their side.

I assuem that the consent can be cached for a long time. And if you revoke the consent, you will be failed to open the shared app.

    Best regards,

OK. In the case of SharePoint consent is managed by permissions to the list or library. If permissions are set correctly then why is an additional consent step needed for the app.

Also how long is the consent cached for in the app? Is it possible to revoke consent?

    Hi buildbod,

This documentation about “Share app resources” could be a reference for you:
    https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/share-app-resources/

From this documentation, we know that when we share an app, we should also consider the types of resources on which it relies. Some of the resources are shard automatically when you share the app, while other resources require you or the people with whom you share the app to take extra steps so that the app works as you expect. The first time shared user open the app on their side, they will be asked to sign in with their own credentials, while it won’t occur the second time when shared user open the app.

    Best regards,
