Hi,

I want in power apps, we can enter a new form by answering several questions which will be entered in an excel file positioned on Sharepoint. How could i do that ?

A user's navigation path should be as follows :

Home --> New Form --> *Answer the necessary questions* --> Click to "Save" --> A new line is created in the excel with its answers.

Thx for help, it's my first project in Power Apps and i dont' have all the keys...

Marco

There are several videos on YouTube that go over the basics of this, and they'll cover it in more detail than a quick text description. See Video from Shane Young

Other great content creators on there include April Dunnam, Todd Baginski and Reza Dorrani.

    Hope that helps,

    Bryan

    Hi @MarcoNic,

Do you want to submit form to save data to an excel file located on the SharePoint?

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Actually, we could only read metadata like Created, Modified and so on from excel files on SharePoint. We could not access to data within the Excel file. Patching data into Excel table which stored within SP library is not supported within PowerApps

If you insist on saving the excel file on SharePoint, I would suggest you combine with a flow.

    Hi,

Yes, I want to submit form to save data to an excel file located on the SharePoint.

And I want each new input form to create a new row in this excel.

I could be .cvs file too, i don't mind about the format but I want to have all the data in the same file to facilitate monitoring...

The complete scenario is too share the Power Apps to my users, they submit a new form whenever is necessary, their answers are recorded following, I create kpi in power bi to follow the process. (I can't link Power Apps and Power Bi, my company prohibits it and blocks the flows, so I see myself having to go through an intermediate file. Maybe you have an other method ? ).

    Best Regards 🙂
