I am trying to populate a word template with dynamic information that is being provided via a power app.
Having difficulty in understanding how I can do this when the word document is also dynamic.
I have a word template with the plain text content control set - Copying this document using power automate, sharepoint get file content from file path > Create file.
Can get this to work so it copies the file and creates it in the new folder with the demand name.
Then have attempted to use the premium word option to update a word template but it asks for dynamic schema - Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
I am unclear here what you refer to. A Word template that you are going to use to merge, will have merge "tags" with names/references that Power Automate will access and populate with field data sent (or retrieved from a List referred to) by Power Apps in the Flow schema.
If you are asking whether these tags can be dynamic in name or if the template itself can be dynamic, then no.
The only other thing you can do is format the whole body in Power Apps and send that as big merge field/s.
