Dear experts,

I want to build a function of copilot can read upload file form users after that I can ask power automate to summarize file and response back to copilot

But I don't known how to transfer variable to power automate for processing.

Please help me.

Hello,

I see that it's not fully supported. You can create a flow with file variable input, but the structure is not the same as what we receive from the question in Copilot Studio. I've tried to prepare a flow and invoke it from the topic, but I've received this error:

It states that only Text, Boolean and Number input variable types are currently supported. We need to wait a bit for the update on this.

Hi,

If you want to summarize content, and want a different approach, you could use an AI Builder model. In this case, you can use the create a prompt action, which requests the system to summarize the content:

Hi,

According to Microsoft, currently it's only possible to upload images, but not PDF or other type of documents.

any update this is indeed failing
failed to run with response code '400'. Error Code: AIModelActionBadRequest for images too
