Dear All,

I am creating power virtual agent. I have one keyword which has been listed in more than 3 topics.

When user entered the same keyword , Agent is playing 3 clarify topics and also displaying  "none of these" option as well.

My question is , Can I display more than 3 topics as clarify options when user enter same keyword which has been listed as triggering phrase  in many topics?

Thanks in Advance.

    Hi @Subanesh0689,

In the production version of PVA, you can't change the "To clarify, did you mean..." behavior.

This has been improved in the unified authoring canvas (now in preview) and you can customize the behavior, but recognized intents are always limited to the top 3 with the highest scores.

A couple of ways to work around this are:

    • Optimize your topic trigger phrases by using the topic overlap detection feature to detect what topics have overlapping trigger phrases that causes bot confusion.
    • Create a new 'parent' topic and ask a clarifying question and redirect to the appropriate topic based on the user response (e.g., user says "I have a problem with my account", trigger a topic that will ask "do you need help with 'account creation', 'account unlocking', 'account access', 'account deletion'... and redirect to the appropriate topic based on the response. This can even be made transparent to the user if you use entity and slot filling, so that if the user query contains the operation the clarifying question can be skipped and the user immediately directied to the right topic).
