Hi,
I followed this document (Manage how long to keep bot’s conversation transcripts ) to schedule a job to bulk delete conversation transcript. The job can be run successfully but all history records were erased. Anyone knows why this happen and how to rollback history logs?
Here is an screenshot about the job:
Hi @xhan1,
From what I can see in the Selected Query field it says that the start time needs to be in the last 12 months. So, unfortunately from that query it makes sense it deleted all of the transcripts.
It looks like there is a typo in that Microsoft article you shared. It should have been:
ConversationStartTime Older Than X Months 12 instead of Last
@Expiscornovus thank you so much. I just followed the Microsoft document (see below screenshot). Anyway, the issue should have been fixed. 😎
One more question, is there any way to rollback deleted records?
As far as I am aware bulk deletion is a pretty permanent action. However, you could contact Microsoft support. Maybe they can still help you out.
Btw, below is a screenshot of the original job which was used as an example in that article. As you can see that also has the Older Than operator.
