PowerApps deep linking broken - URL not changing

Hi hope you can help,

 

I've created an app that sens deep links in emails based on the ID of the item, it's an approval system

I've noticed that the URL in my powerapp doesn't seem to be changing no matter which page I'm on.

 

So in the gallery, the URL is the same as for the view item or the edit item. In fact the URL doesn't change at all.

 

Therefore I can't send users to specific items via a custom URL (&ID=) 

 

This was working ok a couple of weeks ago and now is utterly broken.

 

Can anyone shed any light on this?

    The URL for an app (that you see in the address bar) doesn't change when a user interacts with controls or galleries in an app. This is expected behaviour.

    If your app was working before and isn't working now, a possible cause is the introduction of the 'start screen' feature. You might find some advice in the blog post beneath to help you fix this.

    Thnaks for replying timl,

     

    My app sent emails based on the id so the url of the poweapp had the ID of item appended to it.

     

    I didn't use App.StartScreen

     

    So the app URL that worked befdore was:

    https://apps.powerapps.com/play/AppID?tenantId&ID=89

     

    So if the URL has never changed in powerapps I don't understand how this worked before?
