Performance Q: Ten Forms on a Screen OR Use Patch()?

I have a canvas app with SP lists as data sources and I have to either add ten forms or use the Patch function along with manually building the form fields (i.e., non-forms). Each form would have 8-10 radio buttons. I think it will have better performance if I use the Patch function vs adding ten forms but I also require attachments which might be better suited for forms. What are the best practices for this?
