Datatable columns have a question mark and are missing text property - will not load properly

Hi,

Issue: when trying to use datatables (excel file), I can add the datatable without any issues. When I try to select a column from the excel file, the data view on power apps goes into indefinite loading and never refreshes. the view remains stuck on the loading spinner. I can actually add that column by saving the project, exit and reopen it. I have to do this for every column, because it always gets stuck at the loading spinner. After adding all of my columns I noticed, that the columns on the tree view panel do not have the "column" symbol, but just a question mark (See picture 1). Also, the text property is missing (see picture 2 for available properties). I guess that is a consequence of the loading spinner issue.

Here is what I already tried: used 3 different browsers (chrome, firefox and edge), used normal and incognito mode on all of them. Switched computer (both on Windows 10). Switched excel files. persistent issue on all of them.

I do not have a solution for that. Anyone else had that issue before? The Datatable seems fine and displays the correct values, but I need to edit the text property.

Thank you!

Once an excel table is imported to PowerApps changing is schema in Excel frequently becomes corrupted. For many reasons excel is a terrible datasource. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RtmZM3tm2Zs consider using SharePoint instead.
