Integration of CoPilot Agent (built in CoPilot Studio) in PowerApps

We created a CoPilot Agent with SharePoint Online site as data source in CoPilot Studio and published the agent successfully.
This Agent is integrated in PowerApps - we are able to set up the connection but in Power Apps, we are seeing "connect to the data source"  and unable to use the agent in powerapps.

I have the same question (0)

I would expect you to be prompted for permission to use the connection and or to have it create another, what I do not understand is what you mean it doesn't work.

    What exactly happens.

    Hi,

When integrating a Copilot Agent built in Copilot Studio with Power Apps and using SharePoint Online as a data source, the error message *"connect to the data source"* typically points to an issue with **permissions or authentication** between the services.

Here are a few steps to help troubleshoot the issue:

    1. **Verify SharePoint connection in Copilot Studio**: Ensure that the SharePoint data source is correctly added and authenticated within the Copilot Studio environment. You can do this by navigating to **Data > Connections** and confirming that the SharePoint connection is active and authorized.

    2. **Check environment consistency**: Make sure that both your Power Apps app and the Copilot Agent are operating within the **same environment**. Mismatched environments can prevent proper data source access.

    3. **User permissions**: Confirm that the user account running the Power App has the necessary permissions to access the SharePoint site and list being queried by the agent.

    4. **Agent deployment in Power Apps**: When embedding the Copilot Agent in Power Apps, ensure that the app has the correct **data permissions** and that the agent is published and accessible from the environment where the app is running.

    5. **Connector authentication**: If you're using a custom connector or a connector that requires OAuth2, double-check that the authentication flow is correctly configured and that consent has been granted.

You may also find it helpful to review the following documentation:
    - Use Copilot in Power Apps
    - Connect to SharePoint from Power Apps
    - Copilot Studio data source configuration

    Thanks and best regards,
    Daniele

Checked all the points mentioned and still unable to resolve. I am able to access and create agents in CoPilot through SSO. The same SSO is used to login to my PowerApps, Both Powerapps and copilot agent are in the same environment. I have followed all the checks. As noted in the screenshot I see that I get the error that powerapps is unable to have copilotstudio connector as before .. Can you suggest the required next steps? One thing to mention, when I was using trial license, I was able to do the PoC, able to integrate the copilot agent built in copilot studio in the current power apps

    Hi

Can you try adding your Knowledge Base name as the Items Property. For example if your SharePoint Online knowledge source name inside Copilot Studio is "Copilot SharePoint Knowledge" then this should be added as the Items property in single quotes('Copilot SharePoint Knowledge').
