I started learning about creating virtual entities in Dataverse that reference external data. Here is the video I was following:

Lets take the following scenario. If I create a virtual entity that references a table in SQL. I create a simple Canvas App that performs CRUD tasks. The Canvas App is connected to the virtual table. Can I perform CRUD operations on this table?.

Yes, this is possible and it is something that I have done.
With a virtual table, it's possible to update, create, and delete records from an underlying SQL Server table.
