Handle errors in a Copilot Studio agent when retrieving SharePoint data

in my company we're building an agent that retrieves documents from SharePoint, and she wants to ensure users get helpful feedback even if the data cannot be accessed.

    @elodiemartin72 hello. Use error handling and fallback in topics and messages.
     
    In your SharePoint data actions in the agent add error handling or try-catch blocks. Log errors for review and provide fallback responses to users when data retrieval fails.
     
    Test error scenarios to ensure proper handling.
     
    Also, you can use a topic to fallback all errors and save in a database, for example SharePoint or Excel using a flow tool (Power Automate flow).
