Get unique id associated with device Native app

Hello:

I am creating an app that must be converted to Native App.

I will publish it to Google Play.

I need to get a device unique id that will identify that device on app.

Anyone knows how to get it?

If the device doesn't have one, can i create one an stores it locally on device, permanently?

    I don't know if you can get DeviceID or a truly unique device identifier like you want, certainly not with the standard functions - the only thing that will give you some kind of info is the Host object

    This will get you browser and session and tenant info (all apps, even wrapped, run in an iFrame/browser at present).

     

    What you could do to spoof something like that would be to generate a unique identifier using the GUID() function, then use SaveData/LoadData functions to store/retrieve that - however I believe this would only apply to the current install so if they removed the App and re-installed it, it would generate a new GUID
