Add Labels to Browse Screen So They Appear For All DataCards

I have probably explained this terribly.

On the browse screen it pulls data from my Excel table appropriately, but lacks labels. As you can see from this image....

I have created labels for the first datacard, but it hasn't carried the labels down for the datacards below. How do I do that please? Like, if I change the data field for the first datacard, it will duplicate it all the way down, but it doesn't seem to want to do it for labels I create.

Go to property dropdown select TEXT and in the formula bar you can type ThisItem.LabelName by selecting particular label You can try this

I can't get this to work, but fear you've not dumbed it down enough for a novice like myself.

Like I don't get what you mean by 'type ThisItem.LabelName'.

If I type 'ThisItem.Date' or example, it will give me the data from the date column in my table. But I don't want the date, I want a text label that says 'date'.

If I type 'ThisItem."Date" ', that doesn't work either, and if I try 'ThisItem.LabelName"Date" ' , or similar variations they don't work either.

Thank you for replay one more try from my side

You select the gallery click on pencil icon and insert one label and go to text property of label and in " " double quotes type your label name like for example "Date"

    Thanks for your quick response.

This achieves the label as in the image I posted in my original post. It doesn't however, duplicate down for each item in the gallery which is what I'm attempting to do.

If I gotta do it manually for all then so be it, but I suspect there's a way to replicate it!

    Hi @Milkatron ,

When you are selecting a Gallery control in your app, you will be able to see the pencil icon inside the Gallery:

    vjefferni_0-1631086220183.png

After clicking this icon, you will see the first item in the Gallery is selected:

    vjefferni_1-1631086277951.png

At this time, you could try and add other controls like Labels, TextInputs or Dropdowns into the Gallery, all of the new added controls would appear repeatedly in each item of the Gallery:

Now you can and you will only be able to select the Label in the first item of the Gallery, set the Text property to ThisItem.fieldname in your worksheet, in my demonstration it's ThisItem.Date1 since I have a Date1 field in my test worksheet.

    Hope this helps.
