Connecting to SQL Server that is on an Azure SQL Virtual Machine

I am trying to connect my application to a sql server that is hosted up in Azure on a cloud-based virtual machine. Do I need a gateway for this also? If not, how do I connect to this as specifying just the server name/database name/credentials does not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Anonymous,

In addition to configrue the connection under PowerApps, you should also makre sure the Azure SQL Database firewall allows the connection request from your side.
