Hello,

i have problem with different behaviour on Power Apps. I got Dataverse Storage Capacity alert of less than 15% capacity is available, which led me to investigate the Database usage. I found out that there are 2 environments, DEV and TEST. The DEV takes 1.45GB of database, while TEST environent takes almost 2.5x more space - 3.6GB.

I double checked the table storage for the tested tables and applications, there are 10 tables being used, which the count of the records in every one of them doesn`t exceed 1500 records.

In deeper look, most of the space is taken by system tables. Screens below

DEV Environment:

In addition, there is only one custom solution being developed and tested, which icludes Power Pages. There are the same solutions provisioned on both envrionments with translation in 3 languages enabled in each of them. I can understand difference in 10-15% more space, but 2.5x more space with the same solutions? Something weird happened there and i can`t find out what. Someone had similir issue or has any advice to find the solution to solve this? Recreating TEST envrionment (deleting and creating) is the last option if nothing else helps.

I have the same question (0)

I recommend to open a ticket with Microsoft request to clean up your environments with old data and old components that are not used anymore in you organization. This is something that is not done automatically.

I had the same situation and was able to clean up 15GB in 7 environments.
