I have a Powerapp that functions as an inventory system for our office and uses a SharePoint list as the data source. It works totally fine from within the app. There are form with patch functions for editing the entries as well as adding new ones.I recently edited some entries from the list itself as I needed to delete mutliple entries at once and don't have or need that functionality in the app. However the deleted entries still appear in the App as well as some changes I made in the App don't appear in the list and vice versa. Is there a way to check for this mismatch in data and get rid of it so both use the same data?I have refreshed it and even disconnected the data source and connected it again.
There is the function Refresh(DataSource ). But if you are editing the SharePoint list and not a collection of the datasource I am unsure of why they do not match.
Try displaying the changed data on a new screen to see if the data remains unchanged.
Thank you for your response.I tried refresh DataSource and that didn't help. However I just realised that this is likely a problem with SharePoint and the PowerApp displaying correct data. I tried to open the list with a different browser and it is showing the correct entries (granted some individual columns were still mismatched). I think the list was not able to overwrite the PowerApp but I am not sure this causes the problem.
Unless you are using a very old browser this should not be the case. However, to ensure that the changes are occurring when you update the data on the app refresh your SharePoint list and check to ensure the data is updated there.
