Issue with Text Boxes in Modern Forms in Power Apps for Teams

I am using modern forms in a DataVerse for Teams environment. When the user clicks the New Icon, it sets a variable to DisplayForm.New which is what the form's default display mode is keying off of. All text boxes are showing "Text Box" but only in the published to Teams version (not inside the Power Apps Builder. See screenshot below
