I created a Request for time-off with Microsoft Forms using Power Automate.
Under Power automate "Condition" for Approved and Denied email, I can't find the option to to add when was the Time-off request form submitted.
My end goal here is to see under Approved/Denied email how long it took Supervisors to response by showing the date when was the form submitted by requestor and the date when the supervisor signed the approval/denied forms.
Thank you in advance.
That makes sense. Dynamic content ususally only reveals the itesm that match the datatype but as you start typing, it shows the other available options. Glad you got that sorted!
Hi Sudeep. Thank you for your reply.
Playing with power automate and found a solution. Under Dynamic content, just type "Request Date" and it will give you Date the approval request was sent.
Hope this helps.
Consider storing the submission time in a variable immediately after the trigger event. That way, you could reference the variable in your Approval condition.
There is an option to add Submission time when a new response is submitted (see attached picture) but under Approved Email Condition, I don't see that option anymore. (See attached picture)
You should get the submission date from the trigger. Can't you?
