I am using CDS to store requests, and I was wondering if there is a way to view the history of each request (Who edited what and when).

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

The only way I have found to do this is turning on the Audit setting for the entity. However, you can only see this audit log using the Admin portal - I have not found a way to get to the data for reporting, etc. It's a manual process to review who has changed data.

If you need to do more than can be achieved with the audit log. My solution would be make a related entity with a many answers to one question, you can then see who answered each one. You could also use Now() in powerapps to make when they started to read the question so you can compare that to created and get how log it took them to answer.

We are trying to store data using CDS. Is there a way to see the change history of the record? We want to see version history of each record. For example, a field had a value of X previously, and now it has value Y. Is it possible to view this information without Admin Access? A requestor changes a record in CDS, and the request goes to the Approver, and the Approver would like to see change history in order to make their decision to see previous values. The approvers don't have admin access.

I believe you are thinking of microsoft forms. Our query is about common data service in powerapps.

    Thanks for your input, though
