Hi Experts,

I’m new to Copilot Studio and working on creating an organizational agent. I’ve encountered the following issues:

The agent does not retain context. When I rephrase a question with the same requirement, it fails to recognize the intent, requiring me to restart with a fresh prompt. Is there a setting to enable context retention for the agent?
I connected an Oracle Database table to Power Apps (Dataverse), and the same table serves as my agent's knowledge base. However, upon importing, system-generated fields like “Created By” and “Name” were added. The agent mistakenly reads these fields, providing incorrect responses despite accurate data being available in the actual table. How can I ensure the agent only uses the correct fields for responses?

1. It should retain the context, but that depends on what type of orchestration you are using - if classic one (with trigger phrases to invoke topics etc.) then it's context is limited as you're using generative answers, if you're using generative orchestration it should retain the context and the conversation will be more natural. Keep in mind though that generative orchestration is a preview feature.

2. You'd need to manipulate the system prompt (Instructions in the agent overview tab) to force it to use correct columns like listing all the columns with the descriptions on what each column is for. You can also try to test with renaming the columns if possible.
