Hello, I am trying to Patch attachments from a Collection however I am getting the following error:

The collection is storing the files so I am bit lost here why it wont accept the data in the Patch... I am assuming it is because each file is being stored as a file name and the actual file, how can I store these separately and patch them to the list attachments column?

    Hi @lukegatt ,

    The only way you can Patch attachments (the content of them) is using FormName.Updates and having an attachment control on the Form. The only other way of saving them is SubmitForm().

    Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

    @lukegatt ,

    Yes - I have seen some variations on that one, but I did not know your experience, so was reluctant to start down that rather complex track.
