Web Form Steps - Previous Button not working after Conditional Step

I have noticed that when you press the previous button on a step after a conditional branching step nothing happens, the page stays on same step.  Actually after doing this I now need to press the Next button twice in order to proceed to the next step.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior and are there any work arounds?

Did you make any changes in your web form steps sequence since you started created the record/session? if yes, what it happens is that the web form session gets messed up and you can't go back

try starting a new record/session for that web form and see if it works

    Hi Oliver,

I did test using a brand new record (a.k.a. session) but still seeing the same behavior.  Is there any way to force the session step another way?  My simple testing of pasting the URL with step ID that I want to navigate to did not work.

While no amount of cache refreshing or new record creation resolved this, creating a brand new web form (with brand new steps) did.

I was facing the exact same issue. I figured out the actual problem was that Move Previous Permitted flag was set to false on the conditional step. The fix is simple. just set the Move Previous Permitted flag to true and it would start working correctly.
