Hi All,
I am planning to create a configuration table in Dataverse. In this table, I will store values which I will be using in my Power pages as well as in power automate flows.
Does anyone know how to do that?
The main reason why I want to do this is because, when I deploy my solution into another environment for the first time, I want to easily setup my variables which my program relies on.
Thanks
Hi @Fubar ,
I've created a custom dataverse table in my solution and stored Azure function URL & power automate URL in it, now what will be the best method to use those data in power pages?
2- Using the site setting to store data as a key-value pair creates an unmanaged layer in my solution - so this is not the best approach.
Just create a new Table for it, if you are not intending to surface the info on a Page create the Table inside a Solution in the make.powerapps.com interface.
If the Portal needs to read from it you will also need to setup appropritate Table Permissions for your Portal users, security role privilleges for internal users if needed. Could alternatively use the Portals Site Settings and create your own settings.
If wanting to allow a normal user to change values also add the table to your model driven App. If just sys admin can edit values in the Maker interface.
