Send DefaultSelectedItems back to sharepoint list

I have my DeaultSelectedItems populating from a gallery.Selected.ID in a New Form.  The DeaultSelectedItems value does not submit to sharepoint on submit. How do I get the value back to SharePoint? Thanks in advance.

    The solution to Set the Update Property in the Data Card (not the Data Value) to the ID and value of the lookup column

    Hi @ctedesco3307 ,

     

    The lookup field has 2 columns (Id and Value).

    So I think the id column is missing in the formula.

    What's the data type of the column in sp list? Lookup? Choice?
