I need to create a custom CRM in a Model-Driven App. Can I have full access to all features, including Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate flows, Power Pages sites, and custom plugins with a Microsoft 365 F3 License?

    Hi @Hussnain ,

Microsoft 365 F3 License provides access to a variety of features

    1. Microsoft Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service):

      • With an F3 license, you have read access to Dataverse tables, but you cannot create custom tables or modify existing ones.
      • You can use standard entities and predefined tables, but customization options are limited.
    2. Power Automate (formerly Flow):

      • The F3 license allows you to run flows created by others, but you cannot create your own flows.
      • You won’t be able to create complex workflows or automate custom processes directly within Power Automate.
    3. Power Pages (formerly Portals):

      • Unfortunately, Power Pages (portals) are not included in the F3 license. You need a different license (such as Power Apps Per App or Power Apps Per User) to create and manage portals.
    4. Custom Plugins:

      • Custom plugins (server-side code) are not available with the F3 license. You’ll need a higher-level license (such as Power Apps Per User or Power Apps Per App) to develop and deploy custom plugins.

In summary, while the Microsoft 365 F3 License provides access to some features, it has limitations in terms of customization and development capabilities. If you require full access to all the features you mentioned, consider upgrading to a different license that better aligns with your needs.

So, in short, the F3 license will not work for full CRM development. Can I use the Office 365 E3 license instead? Currently, there are two E3 licenses: Office 365 E3 and Microsoft 365 E3. However, I want to go with Office 365 E3. Will it work for me for full CRM development, including the development of everything such as tables, flows, Power Pages website, plugins, business process flows, deployment ( moving solution from one environment to another )etc.?

No, Office 365 E3 is suitable if you primarily need core productivity apps and basic cloud storage.

You need to get Microsoft 365 E3 if you want to use full capabilities for CRM Development...hope this helps..
