Search function in gallery of canvas app using multiple keywords

Good morning! I have been hired as a Power Apps dev and it's been going well so far, but I am struggling with the latest request that has come into the helpdesk. We have a canvas app that allows employees to create stories for our internal newsletter. The app updates a Sharepoint list. So employee create new items, but also have the ability to view/edit existing items. There is a search box at the top of the 'View/Edit' screen, but it is clunky and is only doing a starts with search. So, if the user doesn't know the exact title of the story they are looking for, they won't get a hit. How do I structure the function for the search so that search will look at keywords  and pull back all items that have those keyword in the title, or narrative? I'd also like for them to be able to search by client, which is required when creating a new item. Here is what I have so far...

Search('Weekly Digest', TextInput1Search.Text, "Title", "Narative", "Client")

*Note: I realize narrative is spelled incorrectly. The Sharepoint list was created before I was hired. The total number of items in the Sharepoint list is under 500, but is growing.

I am getting a delegation warning.

Hello @TMaith, Search is not delegable for SharePoint https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/sharepointonline/#power-apps-delegable-functions-and-operations-for-sharepoint

That is why you are getting the delegation warning. You might think of using collections to avoid the delegation issue if you can filter the SharePoint list to retrieve maximum of 500 or 2000 records.

    Regards,

    Ahmed

Morning! Friday, once I started down the path of using a collection, I discovered the previous person had created a collection. Unfortunately, I don't know how to use it. I found a few articles, so I'll be working on that today. Thank you!!
