Delete column in dataverse

I'm working with a solution that has a table, but this table wasn't created within this solution, and I don't know in which solution it was created. The first question I have is:

1 - Is it possible to delete a column without being in the original solution where it was created?

When I try to delete it in the default solution available in the environment, the delete button is disabled, I've already checked and there are no dependencies in this column:

When I try to delete the solution that I'm working on, the only option it has is to remove the column from the solution

if someone could help me, I really appreciate

Thanks in advance 🙂

    Hi @dannirodrigues ,

That table would be part of a managed solution in the environment and the ability to delete the column would not be possible.  You could look at the prefix on the column to normally identify the solution that originally installed it.  If no prefix, this would be a standard column out of the box with the included default Common Data Model tables in Dataverse.

in your screenshots you are trying to delete different fields

first screenshot looks like a Money field (you can see a Base added) in that case you need to delete the main field, not the Base field that is automatically created by the system)

in your second screenshot you are trying to delete an OptionSet (Choice) but maybe it has dependencies as it is a different field from your previous screenshots)

When I try using the classic version, it displays this message.

@dpoggemann Do you think this is because it's part of a management solution?
