Right now Displaymode property of "ContractFlag" is view type.

My requirement is: It should only go to edit mode when someone changes value of "Advance Payment" or "Programme Type"

    Hi @zmansuri

    If("Item 1" in ComboBox2.SelectedItems.ColumnName Or
    "Item 2" in ComboBox2.SelectedItems.ColumnName , DisplayMode.Edit,DisplayMode.View)

    Can you explain that? "Item1" what should i put there?

    Also. My scenario is. By default it will be non editable. When someone try to change value of both mentioned field then it will be editable.

    Let's say they changed the field "Advance Payment" which was No to Yes. Then ContractFlag will be editable. so they can set the flag to no. When they submit the form it will be again non editable.

    Replace them with the Advance Payment like;

    If("Advance Payment" in ComboBox2.SelectedItems.ColumnName Or
    "Programme Type" in ComboBox2.SelectedItems.ColumnName , DisplayMode.Edit,DisplayMode.View)

    Hope it's clearer

    Did you try the Value instead of the column names.

    What i want is when someone tries to change the value of Datacard51 or 52 from their original value only then Contract flag should be Edit mode.

    So if Current value of Datacard51 is "7 Month" and Datacard52 is "No". Contract flag: View.

    when i click the dropdown and change the "7 Month to "3 Month". Contract Flag: Edit.

    If i select "7 Month" again. Contract Flag: View.

    essentially it needs to compare with it's own original value.

    Sorry for such a long description. but, i can't wrap my head around it.
