Import Control doesn't load data into the Collection

I'm trying to import data into my Canvas app following the steps in the Example here: Export and Import controls in Power Apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

The dialog box opens for me to select a zip file to import (testCol.zip) but at step 8, I keep getting this error - "The function 'Collect' has some invalid arguments" - and nothing is loaded into my Collection.

I'm sure I've followed the steps correctly but I'm obviously missing something.

Can someone please help?

     The documentation says that the Export function isn't supported in web browsers

    You will need to test on a mobile and you will likely always see this error when in Dev/Editing. It's the same/similar when setting up the Load/Save Data functions for Offline apps.

    Thanks for your reply!

    That Limitation says it only applies to Export (no mention of Import limitations).

    Does this ONLY work for mobile? What about Windows?

    I tried this on the Windows PowerApps App (Power Apps - Microsoft Apps) and it still doesn't work.

    @ywp

    As the documentation you shared says, Export is not supported in a browser, so yes, you can only use this feature from a Mobile device.

    Re: That Limitation says it only applies to Export (no mention of Import limitations).

    That's true but the Import needs a file to reference, otherwise it errors out. Because you cannot Export the correct file type to a Windows machine, Import shows the error.

    As for that Windows PowerApp App, it has been plagued with issues from the start so I avoid it now. A few years ago MS said that you could test Load/Save Data inside of this app but I could never get it to work for me, so just gave up. I suspect it's the same for what you are trying to do with Export/Import.
