I just added 49 fields to a new custom entity that I created, and have been receiving the subject message trying to save.  Is there a maximum number of fields that can be added to a custom entity?  I checked  and truncated the lenghts of the display name and field name many of the fields, but still the same message.  Is there a maximum length of either that CDS will allow?  The cuurent message says: "The provisioning request failed with 1 errors. See exception details for more information. RequestId: d395f1c2-859d-4ab1-a455-09257844bb8b."  Where do I go to see these exception details?

    Hi @Anonymous,

I didn't see any document mentioning that there is a limitation for fields added for one entity.

But for the data fields, you may take a look at the article below:

    Entity field data types

Currently there is no proper way for end users to check the RequestId, I will forward this and see if it would help.

    Regards,

    Michael

Do you use any 'reserved names' as your field names?  I ran into this error and it turned out I couldn't use the Name 'Schema'.  Changed it to 'ObjectSchema' and I was able to save and publish the entity.  Not sure what all the reserved words are, but may one of your column names.

    Hello

I have the same problem wiht the word 'parent' changed the field to 'parents' and all okay

    This was the context:

    Sort(Filter(Table1,Parents = LookUp(Table1,Branch=ddAgentName.Selected.Value,Parents) ),Year)

cannot remember the error message, but it took hours of trial and error to conclude that 'parent' is a reserved word
