Form OnSuccess - Triggered by update or create?

Is there a way to find out if OnSuccess of an form was triggered by an update or create inside of the dataverse?

I want to check if my forms last SubmitForm() was OnSuccess an update or create to my refenced dataverse table.
Somehow I do not find any property which allows me to distinguish this.

Context:
OnSuccess of my form i'm patching the information additonally into a log table, because of that i want to log the information if it was an "update" or "create" additionally.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @LimeLeaf, I don't think you can with the SubmitForm operation, but you can determine by checking the FormMode of your form before executing SubmitForm. For instance:

    Set(IsCreate, Form1.DisplayMode = FormMode.New);
    SubmitForm(Form1)

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @EricRegnier,

    that does the job for me here! Thanks a lot! 🙂
    I implemented it as you mentioned with just a little adjustment.

    I took "FormMode" instead of the "Display Mode" for the Form Mode Check.

    Setup of the Button (Save/Create):

    Setup of my form (FormDevice):

    Work with a global variable here was totally out of sight for me today. 🙂
