There is no direct way to format the thickness of the line in a line chart in PowerApps, but you can use a workaround by using a rectangle icon and setting its height or width to zero and its border thickness to the desired value. You can also use a variable to control the color and border thickness of the line.
To add a background color to the line chart, you can use the Fill property of the chart control and set it to any color you want. For example, you can use Color.Red.
