Read Only Model Driven App

Hi,

I may need to build a model driven app but it needs to be read only.  Is there a way to view a model driven app as read only ?

Would setting tables as read only or adding users a read only custom role be an option ?

I understand that adding JS may help but wondered if going down the table or custom security role first ?

Thanks 🙂

    Hi @MinotaurUK

Since a model driven app is based on the 'model', applying permissions in Dataverse is the correct approach to building a read-only app. A model driven app will automatically honour whatever security rules are defined in Dataverse.

Adding users to a read-only custom role would be the correct approach.

Great thanks for the replies.  I was thinking along the security route, so thanks for the confirmation.
