How to develop, share, publish Dataverse for Teams apps?

Hi,

I want to know what is the best strategy to develop Dataverse for Teams apps. Is it possible to develop a Canvas App and then to upload this app as a Dataverse for Teams app to the app catalogue?

I know that you can create Dataverse for Teams apps with the app Power Apps in Teams. With this app you are creating an app for the previous selected team. So if you publish the app I can't publish this app for other teams, too. Furthermore I know that you can export and import apps or solutions (app and tables e.g.). But that would mean that I need to "create" the app for every team I want to add the same app.

Is it possible to upload a custom app to the Teams app catalogue, which will be installed as a Dataverse for Teams app only if you add this app to a team? I haven't found anything about this so far. And if yes what is the "trick"? Some magic you have to consider in the manifest file?  I'm able to upload and add a custom app to multiple teams, but all teams see the same data. I think the reason is that the app will be installed only as a Dataverse app.

Best regards!

    Hi @qwertz123 ,

In Power Apps portal, you could create an App and add it to Teams, then you will be able to find the App in Teams App catalogue:

This App could also be updated by uploading an updated App package that exported from Power Apps portal.

    Hope this helps.
