Hi,

Suddenly, the PowerApps does not display any data in a gallery. A simple query like countrows(table) also return zero data. Checked the Excel file and no missing data.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi

Firstly,do you format it as Table?

Scondly,do you use the gateway?make sure it connect your table ok.

Thirdly,if everything is ok,you can try to view->datasource->data->choose the table remove and then add datasource to try it again.

    Hi @Anonymous,

I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned.

Please check if you have format your Excel file data as a Table on your side.

Please also check if the connection to the Excel table within your app is invalid. Please consider remove the connection from your app, and then re-add a new connection to your Excel table, then check if the data is displayed well within your app.

In addition, please also take a try to clear cache of your browser, then check if the issue still exists.

If the issue still exists, please consider submit an assisted support ticket through the following link:

    Best regards,

Had the same problem. The app worked if I used a normal Excel file (desktop) but it didn't if I used the exact same file uploaded on OneDrive for Business.

I've found out that formulas are the "problem". If you take away the formulas from your tables (and recreate them using formulas on PowerApps), PowerApps shows the data correctly.

Don't know why and it is probably not the easiest but it works.

Hey everyone, just wanted to add to this, if you run into this problem also check if you have the XLSX file open on either Excel Online or locally. I was facing this exact same issue, then closed the file on my computer, refreshed the data source and voilá!

    Hi ,

I was facing the same issue

Powerapps was not able to fetch the data from Onedrive (Excel)

Then i tried closing the file which i kept open online

    Voila! It worked

I spent 4 hours looking for a solution to this.

Thank you for your valuable feedback

Another potential reason could be that the file is open in one drive. When the file is open, you cannot access data in Power App.

    Couple of other things.

Make sure your excel sheet isn't open - PowerApps sometimes struggles with this

Make sure you have a column at the end of your table called __PowerAppsId__

If you need to add the column to your table, save and close excel and then refresh your data source in powerapps
