New PowerApps app creation not allowing flows to be added

As of today (3/12/24) when I create a new PowerApps app, I can no longer select existing Power Automate flows to add. Yes, my flows have been shared, Yes, I can see them in apps that I have created in the past. I have had others in my org try and they are experiencing the same issue. I am able to create new Power Automate flows from within Power Apps just not able to select shared flows any longer.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create NEW power app (I did canvas, tablet)
  2. Click on Power Automate icon
  3. Click Add Flow

Under "Add a flow from this environment" you should see a flows that have been shared and are compatible with Power Apps.

Were the flows you are trying to add built with the original Power Apps trigger or the Power Apps V2 trigger?

Are the app and flows built inside a Solution or just in My Apps and My Flows?

No, and the one I want to reference is already built. And as I mentioned, this was fine yesterday.

Just My Apps and My Flows

What is the trigger you are using?  Just a manual trigger?  If you want to call if from a Power App you should be using the Power Apps V2 trigger. The original trigger was removed a few months ago and although manual triggers used to work MS may have tightened the rules on that recently.  I would swap the trigger out for a Power Apps V2 trigger and see if its then visible.

Also, because the flow is covered by the Power apps license as a related flow they should both be built in a Solution together. I don't think that's a requirement yet unless you want to import/export the combination. But it is a best practice and may become a requirement in the future.

I am definitely using Power Apps V2 as my trigger. And again, this is only happening on New Power Apps that I am trying to build, the others are showing all of my shared flows. I haven't used solutions yet, so I am hoping that is not the issue. Please adivse.

@Pstork1 Is there a way you can try this yourself so that I can tell if it's with something on my end or more a MS issue?

I just tried it with a new app and flow. As I expected I can't see any flows that use a manual trigger, but I can see the flow I just created and old ones that use the Power Apps V2 trigger as long as they are in the same environment.
