Previously working Component no longer seeing connection from app

I had a working component that has suddenly lost association with the app's connector.  It just sees the reference to the connector as 'not recognized'.   Access app scope is selected and 'On'.  Any ideas?

OrderData_SN is an SQL connector that works fine in the app level.  I removed the connection in the app and re-added, with same result.

    Hi @martinav,

    Does the error continue when using the disambiguation operator? [@OrderData_SN] [@SN_List]

    If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.

    Thanks!

    @LaurensM ,

    Seems not.  I tried to disable access app scope, and it crashes and leaves with this:

    Did some rules with property type change?  This is a Function property type.  I try to recreate it, and it still does not pass scope.  But, if I change it to a Data type, then it looks like it does, but then I dont get to add properties to the component.

    Hi @martinav,

    Although I haven't tried this feature myself, the following could explain the issue:

    Dataproperties are the only properties that participate in app data flow.

    Function properties do not participate in an app's data flow, and cannot use component or app variables.

    (Ms Docs Link)

    Since the feature is still experimental, you may find more help in the Experimental Features Section.

    I hope this helps!

    @LaurensM

    It does appear then, that they changed the rules.  I opened a case on this, so we will see what they say.

    @martinav Do you have that case reference number? I would like to follow the convo.

    Thanks

    Actually, it looks like the rules did change for property types.  There seems to be a new one called "Action" that contains the behavior needed to access connectors.  I simply changed the type from Function to Action, and it was all good.

    Did you make that change in the PP Admin Center? I am trying to pin down how to correct on my side and will need to provide direction to our COE team if that's the case.
