Setting PowerApps time zone

Hi,

When I submit Calendar items for the same date, they come in at a different time zone, which I then need to convert in FLOW. Is there a way to set the time Zone on start?TimeZone.PNG

    Hi @AlbertoSP ,

Check out this post from yesterday RE: Timezones https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/Time-after-Time/m-p/257872#M75503. It might have some answers for you.

The forum Search bar is the key to LOTS of good info.

    Good luck!

    Hi @AlbertoSP ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Could you please share a whole screenshot about your flow's configuration?

Further, do you submit your SP Calendar items within your PowerApps app, and retrive the corresponding date time value within your flow?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I think you have faced Time Zone issue. Currently, when working date time values within PowerApps or Microsoft Flow, the date time values would be converted into UTC format automatically.

In addition, the Time Zone of your PowerApps is based on your local time zone in default.

If you want to set the Time Zone for PowerApps dynamically, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

I agree with your thought almost, I think the "Convert time zone" action within Microsoft Flow is good choice for you.

    Best regards,

When submitting a PowerApps form, default date (Start and End Date field from a SharePoint list) were saving in a SharePoint list as UTC time. I condition it values in flow to convert for UTC to ETC.
That seems to work but, is there away to set the default date to UTC.

I also changed the Default Values of the Start and End date field to now() so they load with the most current date/time.
