I have a gallery that pulls data from a sharepoint list, i want to create a rather large filter set of options along with a search.
I want the search to find 'title' only
The rest of the options are combo boxes with checkboxes and the very last one searches a date field and looks for dates that are older than 30 days.
The list is titled 'Virtual Servers'
Gallery is Gallery2_1
Column Names on the filter are:
'OS Version'
PrimaryFunction
'Secondary Function'
Location
'Critical Level'
'Maintenance Window'
And the last one is just a checkbox
'Last Updated' > 30 Days
I dont currently have any of it working and have just created the design of it.
Here is what it looks like.
Ive looked at a lot of examples and forums and there are so many different ways to do it however i cannot find one near what i am trying to do, i want to be able to select an item on the combo box then click the checkbox to filter the gallery. And it could have multiple items checked i.e. OS Version and Maintenance Window. There is also the search at the top that i want to search for the name of the servers (Title).
Any help would be greatful.
First, the checkboxes are not necessary and only complicate things. Next, this article will answer exactly how you do this by the time you get to the bottom. So carefully review it.
