Dear Team,
I have PVA which was developed and tested in my local, but I wanted to publish this into Teams Channel , here teams channel i am referring to a group for 150 people working in same team ( not the Organization teams channel which are more than 10K people ), I don't have admin rights on Teams Channel. is there a provision to deploy this PVA to only those 150 members ?
Thanks,
@vamsi_varanasi , unfortunately if you were to create a PVA bot in web portal, there isn't currently a way to only share the bot with 150 users to chat with it. This item is in our future plan. I think the best way is to see if you could get approval to create it in PVA Teams.
If you must go with the PVA web portal, you can configure your bot to allow anyone in the tenant to chat with it and only distribute the bot to the 150 people. You could do so either by:
1. Only giving the bot Teams app installation link to the 150 users OR
2. Add the bot directly into a SP site or intranet site that only the 150 users have access to.
Hope this helps!
Hi, Thanks @renatoromao @micchow for this solution.
If I create the bot using Teams, there would automatically new environment is getting created if I am not wrong. seems my organization has a cap on creating the environments if I tried to create using Teams channel. I would need to deploy either Power Portals or Power Apps ( using Iframe ) or custom website.
Can the user use the default page provided by Microsoft for using this PAV ?
Thanks,
Hi @vamsi_varanasi , Renato is correct that you can create the bot using PVA in Teams. Create the bot in the team that has the 150 targeted user will automatically grant all team members access to chat with the bot, no manual configuration required. Once the bot is created, you can follow the instruction here to make the bot available in Teams app store for all members to install the bot:
To save you time, you could also export your bot and import the bot into the team environment. A reference instruction on how to do that can be found here:

@renatoromao , Thanks for your response.
I have developed PVA using web app ( logged in through Google Chrome ).
Thank you very much for the information, but if I wanted to create through PVA using Teams, does all my team members need access to the Environment where I am developing PVA ? or is it same like power apps , just share the app, consume from URL.
Thanks,
Did you build your chatbot using PVA web app or PVA for Teams?
If you developed your chatbot using PVA for Teams, you already developed inside a specific team, and automatically mean that all people this team can see this chatbot. But if you want to deploy in another team, you have only an option to share with your organisation and need administrator approval and also will be available for everyone.
