Create a Retention Policy for Custom Copilot Bot

I need help with creating a retention policy for my chat with the custom copilot bot I created. I took a look at Purview, but I wasn't able to add the bot to that policy because it wasn't a user. Any ideas??

The only way I found to clear the chat was to delete it and create a new one. Anyone know what I can do?

I want to be able to delete the chat history within the bot after every new conversation. I don't want it to show the previous history chat since it makes it unless to have a chat if the chat stays.

Afaik Copilot Studio is not supported as a target for Purview retention policies at the moment. What do you want to retain of your copilot?

Retention policies are the cornerstone for data lifecycle management. Use these policies for Microsoft 365 workloads that include Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Viva Engage:

However, you can configure data loss prevention policies for your copilot, how that is not what you are looking for, correct?

Can you elaborate on what is it you're hoping to achieve? Is this about archiving/deleting chat transcripts?

I am trying to have the conversation with the bot to delete after every conversation, so that when I come to message the bot again a brand new chat. I don't want any previous chat logs/history.
