Why Do I keep losing data in a Power Apps Form for the Issue Description Field in a SharePoint Issue Tracker List?

I created a Power Apps for an Issues Tracker List in SharePoint.  For some reason, I keep losing all data entered in the Issue Description field, every time I update a field other than the Issue Description field.  I originally set the Issue Description to Rich Text format.  After researching possible causes of the problem, I found suggestion to change the Issue Description to Plain Text.  The problem continues to happen.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your solution to this nagging issue...

So the "Description Field" text resets (is cleared out / deleted) when you click on one of the other inputs on the form?

Are you able to submit the text if you don't click on any of the other fields before submitting?

I'm not sure honestly... that's so strange.  Is there anything in the "Default" field for that DataCard?

    Hi Rusk:

I have resolved my question.  As I wanted to maintain a history of all updates to the Issue Description field, which is visible within the Issue Description field, I resolved that this cannot be accomplished if the Issue Description field has setting:   Append Changes to Existing Text set to "Yes"... When I changed the setting to "No", I am getting the results expected.

    Thanks
