Getting this notification on a brand-new copilot. Anyone else getting this? It is in all red and will not allow me to add anything on the Generative AI page. It is showing that I can Only add GenAI into the boosting node.

I am seeing this error as well under the "Generative AI" tab of my copilot studio.

What do we need to do to fix it?

    Good morning!

I hope you are doing well. This is a tricky one.

    - In order to activate generative answers, you had to activate them in the "Generative answer" tab and it automatically created a "conversational boosting topic".

    - All the parameters that you could tune in the "Generative answer" tab can also be tuned in the different nodes individually.

    - When you change / changed the "conversational boosting" topic, you can't change the parameters from the "Generative answer" tab anymore (no idea why).

    - You can still change each generative ai node individually.

What you are seeing quite annoying but it is not a bug, it is "Standard copilot studio behaviour". You can still configure generative answers in your copilot normally.

I am also having this issue after toggeling on 'Search only selected sources' in the create generative answers node.  This same SharePoint knowledge base that is connected to the custom copilot (Virtual Agent) in the Knowledge tab as well, and is my only source used.  I'm confused why it would even provide this as an option to select if it was going to create an error?  I have 'Authenticate with Microsoft' selected in the general settings.
