Licesing question enviroments

hey guys,

question, if I have a envoriment 1 (not the default enviroment) that have lets say 10 apps pass, and have 10 users that have access to the enviroment. each user use at least 1 app in the enviroment and a couple of them use multiple apps, one of them use more than 4 apps on the month meaning its consuming at least 4 pass per month (lets car this particular user user A). there a enviroment 2 same conditions as befores. (all users have office 365 user plans so powerapps free version plan for them).

questions:

1) if I give to user A a per user licence when its uses a app inside the enviroment 1 apps, does it still consume app passes?

2) if there are apps that dont need anye primium requeriment. in the enviroment 1 and any of the 10 users uses it. does it consume a pass?

1) No User A won't consume a per app license. Only users using an app that don't have a per user license will be assigned a pass.

2) Probably not. If all 10 users have an M365 license of some kind and the app only uses Standard connectors then they already have a license that covers that app. Only users without a valid license will consumer a per app license.

One clarification though. Unless you are talking about the specific case of "Pay as you Go" a per app license will be assigned to any user that doesn't have a valid license. That license will stick with that user for at least 90 days even if the user no longer has access to the app. Only "Pay as you Go" licenses track usage on a monthly basis.

no this assuming all users have offce licence as commented, wasnt clear if I create a enviroment and someone use in there a app that have no primiun requeriment if this would need a per user plan or a pass consumed.
