PVA Bot list lookup

Good afternoon. Hoping someone can help with this one.

I have recently created with the assistance of a well respected member on here, a condition for a PVA Bot. It was for when a user types in a 5 digit or above code, it gives one response; a 4 digit response or below to give another response. However, for the 5 digit or above, I need to specify certain numbers for the BOT to say that the number is supported. For example, if a user puts in 20198 which is a supported code, the BOT will say this is supported by us, but if a user puts one that isnt on the list, for example 13344, it till say something along the lines of ' This isnt a code I recognise, could you please try again'. Basically, I want to know how to set up a list that has numbers we support, for when a user types this in, they can be told that it is supported and any other 5 digit number that isnt on this list, to be given the response of ' This isnt a code I recognise, could you please try again'.

Would appreciate any help at all with this one. Thank you 😀

    Hi @Anonymous ,

You can do it using expressions within the Power Automate flow connected to an Excel spreadsheet.

Where do you have those supported numbers?

Let me know, I can try to help you with this logic.

    Hi @ren

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I have a spreadsheet with the numbers on, they all sit underneath the A column on the spreadsheet. I have it set for if a user types in a number 5 digits or above (as some of the numbers have 6 digits). But just need the number they put in to be recognised from the spreadsheet, then any other unrecognised 5 digit number to be told what I mentioned above (that it hasnt been recognised).

Hope this makes sense, let me know if you need anything more 😀

    Thanks,

    Kieran

    @Anonymous ,

    Great!

As you mentioned, I think this video will help you (is not 100% but you can follow the same logic to compare the number entered by user to check if it is a valid number): https://mtacbrasil-my.sharepoint.com/:v:/g/personal/renato_romao_mtac_org_br/EcMnYD4WVa1Ird23kNaPcFEBseAxC00Bog6q8BgLkj4KzQ?e=4FFCN7

Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi @renatoromao Thank you for that video, it explains how to pull the spreadsheet through which is amazing. However, the bits about voucher codes and inactive confused me a little. I will show you below a snippet of my excel sheet.

    spreadsheet.PNG

So, if a user for example types in one of them numbers, I want it to say that this is supported. If they type one that is NOT on the list, I want it to say I do not recognise this code, can you please try again. Do you know what sort of logic I put in there to have it pull from the list for it to recognise the code from there, and then give the answer, if that makes sense?

Thank you for your details response, as I said, its explained a lot of it how to pull the spreadsheet in etc, just need to know how to get it to recognise the code the user puts in and advise them on whether it is supported or not 😀

    Hi @renatoromao

    Hi Rom.

This logically looks like its going to work based on what I have said. I am going to implement this on Monday as I havent had the capacity today, I will let you know the outcome Monday AM and mark this as a solution if it works, sorry about the time its taken for me to confirm, been a busy week in work!
