Deployment of a solution from Unmanaged to managed Failed

I have a App in the development environment under unmanaged solution and the same app was previously developed by some other company and in the test environment the app is under unmanaged solution. So to promote the app I have deleted unmanaged solution in Test Environment. Now when I try to Promote the App from Development to Test Environment it is not allowing to do so.
Could any one in the Community help me with this please?

What do you mean, "not allowing to do so"? Is it throwing an error?

Since I have deleted the unmanaged solution in Test environment. Now when I try to deploy the solution from dev to test it is throwing an error stating that Components already existed in Unmanaged solution so unable to deploy unmanaged to managed solution i.e., from dev to test

Deleting an unmanaged solution does not delete the components in that solution. I suggest you start with this primer on solutions and the differences between managed and unmanaged solutions:

Also try bumping the version number on your solution, as sometimes even when the components have been deleted, a reference to them still exists and increasing the version 'overrides' this.

Please paste the text or a screenshot of the error if it persists.

Only deleting the solution from test wont work.please delete the individual app from the test and again try deploying
