Hi, We have a number of Premium Environments where our developers are able to build premium apps and flows provided they purchase licensing. However, we had a citizen developer complaining that we didn't have an environment strategy... this is not the case, it was just he was unable to see these environments. Wondering if there is some kind of environment role that would enable users to see the environment but not be able to run an app or build an app in the environment. Ideally we could then create some kind of custom message advising them what they need to do to get access. There is the minimum role here - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/database-security#minimum-privileges-to-run-an-app However, we have many Plan per App scenarios.... we can't open to all users due to this consumption based licensing. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on this.
Everyone has access to the default environment and that can't be changed. For all other environments Users can run Canvas apps that have been shared with them even if they don't have permissions to the environment using the link that was shared with them. But they will only be able to see the environment if they have a minimum of maker permission for the environment. There is no way to let user's see that an environment exists without giving them permission to create and run apps in that environment.
