Dear all,
I've stumbled upon an issue that I cannot solve myself, I've tried various things (I'll get there in a bit) but no luck so far. I'm hoping that I'm just overseeing something obvious and that someone can guide me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance!
The scenario:
I have a case that's stored in a table, based on every case one or multiple follow up activities should be initiated. I have created a separate table for every follow up action. I would like that upon opening the case a BPF guides the user to create the records for the follow up activities.
The issue:
Per stage I can create a record for the follow up activities but only the first one is automatically linked (see screenshots). I guess this is due to the fact that I cannot select a relationship for the fourth entity?
Does anyone know how I can create and link multiple entities from the same main entity using a BPF?
What I've tried so far
- Ensuring the relationships are there (see screenshot).
- Creating lookup fields from the main entity to the 2nd and 4th entities and the other way around. (Not yet on these screenshots)
- Created a new 'clean' solution to see if the issue is also applicable there. -> Yes it is, it is in my actual solution and the example that I used for the screenshots.
- Ensured the to be linked entities have the same properties (therefore it goes from 2nd entity to 4th, there's also a 3th that has exactly the same issue).
- Read and checked: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/create-business-process-flow
- Searched for similar posts within the community -> There are some related to BPF but not with the same issue.
Any help is much appreciated!
Best,
Neil
