Hi Team,

I was testing PowerApps with OneDrive. I loaded excel file to onedrive and my file has 146 rows. PowerApp memory usage is 800MB~900MB after i run powerapp and go back to design. And powerapp is become slow when i change something on control. Why memory usage is so high only a few record?

Could you check how many memory PowerApps uses before you run the app?

Hi Wendy,

Memory usage is 100 MB when i start open the app. And then it increase to 600~800MB when i start build app from Excel. App Designer become slow all of mouse movent. Memory is not release after i close the created new app.

Hi YuKon,

How did you close the app? go back to design mode from running mode?

I tried to open an existing app, when opening it, the memory usage of PowerApps would rise. If I exists the app, the memory would be released slowly.

If I start to design a new app and connect to an OneDrive Excel file, the memory of PowerApps would rise regradless of Design mode or Run(preview) mode. Going back to Design mode will not release the memory.

Maybe you can try to close PowerApps Studio, it will release all memory usage of PowerApps. Then test again.

I have the same issue with Yukon. After working with PowerApps for an hour or so, I can see it run really slow. What I do to turn the studio off, wait, and turn it back on.
Hope the team can fix it.

How do you discover how much memory you are using? How do you diagnose problems? I have an app that keeps crashing when using the Add Picture control.
